Have the UIM off for the 3rd time, injector test?
I have had the UIM off and on 3 times over the last 2 days.
once to repair and install parts and the last 2 times because gas was shooting out of my primary fuel rail injector.
I dont want to throw it all back on then realize I still havent fixed the problem.
how can I test the injector with fuel pressure with my intercooler and UIM off?
Thanks

For all who may not know:
Reusing fuel injector O-rings is risky.
Any time you pull a fuel rail, you should have new O-rings handy.
Wipe a drop of oil on the O-rings when reinstalling injectors.
Always use the test connector to turn on the fuel pump & check for leaks.

Ok this one passes me by...
I fixed the problem with the injector... the hose connecting it to the rats nest was to long and it was stopping the injector from settling down in place..
SO i put everything back on and started it up... perfect ... the leak stopped... i hop in the car and check the gauges to make sure everything is good... looks good... I hop back out and I look under the car.... gas is leaking down beside the front of the tranny ....
NOW i have everything apart for the 2nd time today and the car is starting to get on my last nerve....
I now think its the PD i just dont know that im looking for...

There should be a yellow two plug female connector by the passenger side strut tower.
Take a good wire and either crimp two males one on each end and stick it in the connector. You can also do this w/o the males but it'll stay better if ya do. Have a rag ready and you may want to connect the single pin connector around the top of the thermostat. This will keep the fan infront from blasting air so you can listen better for the leak. Get some rags and a light handy and turn the ignition to the "on" position (Don't start it obviously! Just like you wanted to listen to your stereo
) and the poke around inside the bay until you find the leak! Be sure you remember to "unjumper" the connection before starting for normal operation. Don't know what it would do but... You get the point.
Good Luck!
