does anyone here know anything about the 88 rx-7 model non-turbo, automatic. I need some help

could you be more general?

Think about it for a sec, this is a Rx-7 forum...no, none of us know ANYTHING about a s4 n/a auto Rx-7.

He has a couple of other posts as to *why won't my car start* type questions. It's a 88 and someone on this forum told him to hold his pedal to the metal and crank it. Hmmmmm.

The starter turn the engine over and it won't start.

I did a search on his name.

Yep, works fine that way for S4 models as well... I don't know where the old wives tale of holding the throttle open works only on S5 models came from...

Probably from people that never read the owners manual.

Or the FAQ for FC
