Question Have quite a few questions for you all.

Ok, here is my question(s) for you all. I currently have a 92 Hodna Civic DX which I WAS thinking about "doing" a few things to. Then I read Turbo Mag and saw a J-Spec RX-7 and thought I was going to have to buy a new magazine. I went to one of the Local car guys and started looking around. Asked if he had any RX-7's and he pointed over to one. It's a 2nd Gen GLS....I think GLS is correct. I looked under the hood, looked clean, 5speed..only way I would have it. And the interior looked clean. He told me he would trade me straight up, my car for his car. Now, here comes the question....is this guy jerking my chain....or does he not know that RX-7's havent been produced since 1996 in the US???? He has a 1994 which he uses for parts and told me he'd sell that to me for $400 dollars.... The way I'm looking at it, I get rid of a 125hp Honda and I get TWO 13B ROTARY MOTORS! Now....am I looking at this all wrong...what should I ask him. Haven't haggled for a Mazda b4 so I'm not sure what to ask about. If ANYONE could help me...I would be very appreciative.

There isn't a GLS. GXL was the luxury non-turbo model. GTU was the semi-stripped down version and the GTUs was a TurboII without the turbo.

Awesome, i'll grap a pressure gauge and head out there sometime in the next 2 days. I hope one of the is a GTUs, from what I've read on this forum, TurboII seems to be a popular choice. If anyone else has any other suggestions I would be very grateful. I live in Oklahoma so if anyone around this area posts here, send me an email and we can talk to see if you have any advice.

Sounds like a good deal for you, but be carefull. I don't think anyone here would trade their 7 for a '92 civic.
