Have i damaged my engine?

I have been driving my rx7 but up in the higher RPM there is a slight vibration, caused by a wrong flywheel. Vibration starts at abour 5500 RPM to maybe 6000 Then quits.. I am pretty sure i have it pinned down to the flywheel.. Happens when in neutral or when driving, Clutch in/out Could it have to do with the clutch? Have i damaged the main bearings? The engine runs and idles fine..... Anyone shed some light please?

I'd check tranny or engine mounts

if you have the wrong flywheel on it then definitely you should correct it and put in the right flywheel.

in the meantime i wouldn't worry a ton about damaging the bearings but i wouldn't drive the engine hard and i would get it corrected as soon as possible.

I don't see how it could be the wrong FW. You'd have more than a "slight" vibration all over the rev range.

Maybe a slight imbalance in the clutch components? Did it happen to coincide with the clutch install?
