its the front rotor oil control ring. happened to me on my NA, however it would only smoke at startup (ALOT of smoke on startup) i checked the spark plugs and the fronts were COVERED in oil, the rears were perfect.

i had an 87 turboII (my second car) that had a blown oil seal on the hotside and it would only smoke when i would get into boost and come back down to an idle.. so i'm thinking you definitely have a blown oil seal.
