Angry Hatch doesnt close properly when it rains -> triggers alarm?

Hey when it rains the car then thinks that the hatch is open. The alarm then goes off and its driving me crazy!!
I guess water gets in or something. Anyone else got a similar problem?

thanks

Push on each side of the closed hatch and feel for slack in the latch.
The latch strike is adjustable up & down.

Are the hatch drain holes filled???

If it only happens when it rains, you are leaking water down into the latch of the car. The majority of the time when that happens either the rear seal is shot and needs to be replaced or the drain holes are not allowing water to drain, and the water is overflowing into the car.

Either way it needs to be fixed ASAP or your car will rust out as well as other electrical issues will start happening.
