...why? (to the original post, not the FD UIM guy--thats justifiable if you're raping an FMIC and turbo into a second gen.)

EDIT: are you running a supercharger? What type of fuel management? If its a standalone, you can throw in most any decent sized TB and play with it to get it to work....

Using a SAFC II

I am using the SAFC II - I am trying to get a tbird SC throttle body to work so I can get the m90 to work with it.

I sorta got it working.

Does anyone have the wire input diagram to the TPS on the S4.

The voltage range on the TPS from the Tbird is about 1.0v to 4.3-4.8v. Isn't that the same range as the S4?

If so this could be much easier.

you can always read the throttle percentage on the safc to make sure its working properly

Don't touch the 5 volts though. That is the 5 volt reference signal, shrot that and you fry your ECU and most the engine electroncs that recieve a 5 volt reference (Pressure Sesnor, both TPSs, I think the OMP, ect, ect)

I don't get it, you successfuly mounted a M90 to your intake, and yet you can't figure out how to get it to work with the stock TB? sounds like you've accomplsied the hard part already. Couple intake pipes and a blow off valve between the output and tb and you're set...

It works, but it is before the plates and if I can get the other throttle body to work it would make it easier to make it after the plates.

whats wrong with before the plates? No damage so long as you have a blow off valve...

It's worthless. Superchargers are meant to be mounted after the plates, if the SC is before the plates you are losing almost as much as you are gaining and there's no real point.

Actually the car is much faster than it used to be. I was used to Driving a 1998 Trans Am. And this car used to feel lathargic. Now it pulls hard all the way to redline.

I am just trying different stuff. This is a learner play car. I am trying to get it running the best it will.

If you do not try stuff you will never learn.

Thanks, but it will be sunday before I can take pics of the car.

It did run, but I need to get the TPS into sync. I have the wire diagram of the Tbird's TPS and it should work.

I will post pics as soon as I can. The car is at my buddys house (he has more tools)

I have seen pics of somebody's FC supercharged.. where he did have it after the tb... but it looked WEIRD AS HELL, the TB was like in the middle of the intake tubing from the FMIC to the dynamic chamber :o

Wish I still had all my bookmarked sites
I know somebody here knows what I'm talking about and has the pics.

And I don't see any problem with having a supercharger such as the m-90 before the tb... as long as you have a bypass valve for low engine speeds (idle and the such) and a nice sized blow off valve.

Is it ghetto and not the 'proper' way to do it? Yeah.... but then again, I look under my hood and see ALOT of ghetto rigged ****. Just look at some of the ways people are opening the 6 ports... using LUMBAR AIR PUMPS. Hey... as long as it works. And its a hell of a lot better than spending 3K atleast for the EFI supercharger "kit".

Mike... what kind of header are you planning on using? As icemark has posted in earlier threads with the "200 dollar supercharger project....." that any old N/A header really won't get you the best power output.

Great job, and POST SOME PICS MAN!
