Are you saying that you want to use something like these when you put your coil overs on?
Tweak, what kind of setup do you have that you don't like? I was thinking of going with something like these, http://www.ground-control-store.com/...hp/II=41/CA=23 , I hope that is not the same kind of setup you were saying that you HATE.

I have roughly was looks like the kit there... what happens is when taking corners hard takes load off the spring and when it comes back down it makes a really loud clunk sound reason i hate it even tho i know what the sound is cmon we drive rx7's i hate for them to be making any noise.

Whats wrong with your stock mount? Are you just trying to get more camber for some reason?
Tweak, it almost sounds like your springs are not long enough. Is that a problem with a lot of those coil over conversion kits?

Also, make sure that the camber plates are designed for the struts that you are using.
Most properly-designed camber plates are supposed to mount UNDER the strut tower. Some people mount them incorrectly on the top of the strut tower. Cutting is usually required if it is an offset racing type, while the street/autocross centered type usually requires no cutting.
The stock suspension has rubber spring seats, rubber boots, and bump stops (aka bump rubbers or bound stoppers). Many people omit these items in order to save money at the cost of clunking noise when going over bumps. Also, cheap bearings can fail in as little as a few weeks, usually indicated by a horrible clunking noise when turning the steering wheel.

I have stock springs (sold my rsr race springs) and hp struts. I just thought this might be a cheap way to get a new mount that may or may not help the feel of the car.

i've heard those camber plates often have a seized bearing in them, i'm guessing it isn't PTFE coated.
i have seen some of the porsche guys have good success with them though..just have to keep the bearings lubed and free of dirt.
they won't improve the feel of the car, but they do offer much needed camber adjustment.
