MI has anyone orderd JDM engines from bestofjapan.com ???

has anyone orderd parts from http://www.bestofjdm.com
i think im going to end up doing the TII swap and this is the cheapest site ive found so far. I called them up, they of course sound like descent guys over the phone. but there were a few things im concerned about.

1) they do not have warrenties on TII engines, only the 13btt FD engine
2) i dont have money to get screwed over with, and ive heard countless schemes of paying for stuff and never recieving parts.

anyone know about these guys?

Drive there and pick out an engine that has acceptable compression. This is the only way to ensure you get a working engine, trusting them to send you one is just foolish.

japan2la is your friend. Buy from someone that has a good reputation.
You say you have no money to get scammed, well if you buy from them and they dont exist guess what you are out a grand or so. If you buy from a reputable company(japan2la) you will know what you get, its only a couple hundred more or so.

japan2la is a user on here, every thread I've read about getting a jdm engine, they all trust him. With that much reputation, I'd trust him also!

I bought a jdm turbo 2engine from MID ATLANTIC ENGINES a few years ago . They get engines from Japan around 30,000 miles and had a few too choose from, anyways the engine came on a crate wrapped nice. The engine looked amazing I mean p e r f e c t Like brand new. True Story paid 1700 shipped. Look em up
