Ha, i had one off a Feiro/Grand-AM (yes the same fan) and one off a honda on another RX7. They both worked just fine. As a matter of fact, i think its a honda fan on there right now, along with a stock electric fan, and im running cool as my ******* right now, beutiful.

 

Does anyone know if they would be ok to cool an ingine running 350 rwhp???

 

um at 350rwhp, theres no way the stock rad. could even think about coping with the heat.

you might want to look into a koyo or a fluidyne rad. and an electric fan from JC Whitney

It is a great fan. As good as any of the aftermarket ones costing big $$.

That fan on an aftermarket radiator such as a griffin or similiar will be fine. My friend in town has a griffin and a fiero fan and his car never gets hot, and he dyno'ed 410rwhp this past weekend.

I had one on my old FC and it worked great. The Fiero fan pulls lots of air and the shroud pretty much covers the whole radiator. I'm going to install one on my TII once it stops raining and junkyards are open again.

The fan can do it , NO PROBLEM.
I can't be as sure about the stock radiator.

 

well, I have my coolant mixed 60(h2o)/40(eth) I don't quite feel like plunking down 400 on a radiator just yet... anything else I can do to it to make it cool better?

well the one i saw which was an 87...the fan sucked...wasnt the one i needed..or did pontiac just put the good fan on the 88's ?
