I bought a E-bay bar of a forum member on here. I didn't jack up my car, and I didn't have to modify the bar. I did have to bend some of the re-enforcments under my hood to clear the bar. There is at least 3/4" between the alt and bar.

I had my car aligned after installing the bar, wheels, etc. Make sure you wheel bearings are tight before taking it to the alignment shop (mine weren't), it makes a huge difference.

Is it safe to say my car is fine since I didn't have to force anything or should I jack it up and try to get even more tention on the bar between the struts?
