has anybody taken out their front grill (s4)

My front grill is falling part in some places and I never really liked the look of it anyway, and wanted to know if anybody has taken it out. It's the black crossed stuff in the front mouth (sorry for the poor description). What did you use to cut it and still make it look clean, and if you have some, please show me some pics of it.

thanks

Marshall,

Try going to fc3s.org Dave has a writeup there about when he did this to his 90 'vert. The method is the same.

Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot Reese. The writeup was on a S5 front bumper, but I'm sure it would work the same...I'm still debating on weither or not I should just get the S5 front bumper and do that. I know what I want some day haha. Thanks for the help.

who all agrees with me that marshall should find his brain wherever it fell out when he was dropped on his head as a kid..........and not even think about changing the exterior looks of the 10th ae???? if he wants a different look, he should just get a different model and leave the 10th ae to someone who would cherish it.

Well i've decided that Erik was right and that I am being hard headed and need to leave her as she is and not change up the look so much.

Bah

I have a 10AE as well, and really, as long as you hang onto the stock parts who cares what you make it look like? Make sure you leave it white and have the badges on. It still is the soul of the 10AE no matter what the body looks like.
