Has any one tried to fix leaky injectors?

ok i recently replaced all my radiator hoses and fuel lines on my fc and i was thinking well while i got the top part of the manifold apart should i try to clean up these injectors. so i pulled them out and the primaries where dripping bad but when i pulled out the secondaries i got nothing they where dry as can be. so i thought hey thats good because they should not spray until the engine hits a certain Rpm if im correct. So i took the injectors and soaked them in a can of sea foam hoping it would clear it up. so am i still wasting my time or should i just go buy new injectors?

i know alot of people are gonna tell me that i should get a carburetor kit but i just quit my job and im short on money.

Why would anyone tell you to waste your money on a carb kit??? The car comes with Tuned length intake runners and multiport injection.

And professional ultrasonic solvent cleaning of injectors is usually less than $50.

Just dipping injectors in solvents will not fix a clogged injector.

Send those injectors off to WitchHunter or RC...it's like 35-40 dollars with a 3 day turnaround. Or if you can find a diesel shop around you that can clean and repair injectors, go that route....

You can improve them by spraying carb cleaner and air through them in both directions while opening and closing them by hitting them with 12 volts. I have done this with fair success when I had to get a car back on the road after a bad tank of gas to go to work the next morning when the car was barley running.
