hard left turn=everything fubar

so on my trial run after installing an FMIC i go around a hard left turn in 2nd gear...

afterward my revs are STUCK at 4,000rpm. i get out and look at the throttle linkage..and its totally free and resting ON the throttle stop.

i get it home and start messing with it...simply lowering the throttle gave me a surging idle like a TPS out of adjustment.

on a hunch i removed my TB inlet to look and see if any debris might have been lodged in the throttle plates...negative.

so now im just left with a surging idle. if i adjust my tps all the way in it eventually goes away but im stuck idling at 2,400rpm.

if i adjust the tps to normal setting i have a heavy surge. tps voltage readings are NORMAL.

i still dont understand how turning left caused all this :[

Turbo, non turbo? (yeah I know you have a FMIC, but that doesn't mean you didn't turbo a non turbo motor), year?

turbo motor, n/a harness modified for turbo motor, turbo ecu with rtek 1.8, 720/880, s-afc.

i can take video of the car, but it just doesn't make sense...im going to try a fuel filter since this happened when the tank was 1/4.

fuel pump is a walbro with a pretty fresh sock on it.

Still didn't say what series motor.

And... Well perhaps you were not clear... the engine RPMs are sticking at 4000k or not exceeding 4000K?

Because if the RPMs are stuck at 4000 rpm, it would have absolutely nothing to do with the fuel filter.

or if it dieing as going around left hand corners, that is a very common problem (that is covered in the FAQ for FC sticky thread, since it is so common) and that would be the fuel pump screen in the gas tank.

Now if it was sticking on, (and a S4 engine) then I would be looking at the MOP rod jamming or sticking either against the harnesses or intercooler tubes you added.

s4 housings/injectors/harness/ecu/maf/map etc
S5 rotors/balance

tested movement of OMP while it was stuck at 4krpm

and actually the 4krpm thing only lasted until i started messing with the car. basically the revs would not drop BELOW 4,000rpm, despite the throttle plates being almost completely closed.

the current problem is the bouncey idle, as though it isnt getting enough fuel at idle(wideband show 12-peg lean-12-peg lean) during the bouncing. i will pull my sending unit and take a peek at it in a few minutes. im also going to swap out my tps since despite adjustment this one still exhibits bouncey conditions.

the car shows NONE of these issues at 50% throttle and above.

also this throttle body and intake are stripped of emissions and cold start pieces, as well as BAC.

everything was fine until i turned left...

and yes i did try going around the turn the other way

Bouncy idle is a bad or mis-adjusted TPS, and missing the BAC will also effect the idle and is why you are seeing lean/rich/lean/rich.

But you need to fix/replace/set the TPS first.

And you don't set it by voltage... (you said that voltage was correct) you set it by resistance or by the diagnostic connector.

sounds like you have a nasty vacuum leak. Do you have anything plugged or capped off after the throttle body?

the car was able to idle perfectly without bac for a long time until this happened. im going to pressure my intake system and look for any leaks...
