What are the two big grey wires in the engine harness in a 87 t2 for? Trying to solve my no start issue I found both of them are cut and go no where as far as I can see. And I can't find anything in my wiring diagrams.

 

Probably Knock sensor and 02 sensor wires. Not involved in the start process.
