my car has a hard time starting, you can hear it sputtering like it wants to start but it just has a real hard time firing up and then finally it will start. It even does this after is has been started and warmed up. And also should I have to have the clutch down to start it because thats how my friends 90' is, but mine will start with it in or out? What are some problems that could cause hard starting besides plugs it has new ones. thanks

 

Bad/leaking fuel injectors letting fuel drip into the combustion chamber. The fact that you can start the car without the clutch in means someone probably disabled the function AKAIK all FC's need the clutch to be depressed to start.

After you start it does it idle bad for a bit? or if you don't put any more gas into it does it stall?

If so then your compression may be on the way out, you may want to have it tested
