this may sound like a weird question...

what would happen if you accidentally had your two primary injector plugs switched; on the wrong injector?

would the car idle? would it be ok when the load gets split between all 4?

I beleive the car would run funny. Kinda like swapping plug wires from T1 and T2 around.

Yes, the stock ECU runs the primary injectors sequentially upto 3,800rpm all of the injectors fire.

It SHOULD still run and idle ok, but it may not, never tried it myself.

are you SURE they fire sequentially under 3800 and batch fire above with load?

i have been tracking down a weird idle/lowRPM miss... everything checks out great. getting great vacuum, timing is fine, bac is fine, TPS is fine, etc.

the car has a miss at idle and below 3800rpms, but runs perfect under load above 3800rpms and pulls great.

While I personally have not reverse engineered these ECU's I believe my above information to be true and correct.

Someone more knowledgeable might come and chime in on this topic, it has been talked about before, I remember it.
