Hard start when cold

Hello everyone,
I've had this problem for quite some time now,
It's hard for me to start my car when it has been sitting for the night.

i press the clutch, turn the key.... nothing, no click, no sounds...

sometimes i have to slam on my clutch pedal and i hear a click, then it usually works...

what can be the problem?

If the starter turns when you slam the clutch pedal, it sure sounds like the problem is with the clutch safety switch. Get under the dash and look up toward the top of the clutch pedal, and you'll find a switch with 2 wires going to it. Disconnect the wires and jumper them together and then try to start the car. If it starts, the clutch safety switch is bad.
