Hard start sometimes

1988 non turbo Rx7 after engine is wormed up after driving. If I try to start car after it has been sitting for 30 to 60 min or around there it is hard to start. But only in that situation. I would appreciate any help in this matter thanks.

Hillrotery88,

I have a few questions for you:
1. Was this thread moved from the New Member Section?
2. Does the engine have worms or does this problem happen when the car is WARMED up? Please proof read and spell check before posting.
3. Did you use the "Search" function?
4. Do you have a copy of the FSM? Study up on Section F1 (N/A) or F2 (Turbo).
5. What mods do you have on your FC?
6. What have you checked thus far?

My search on hot start problems came up with this light reading:
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati...oblems-499744/
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati...ility-1049342/

Cheers,
George

Check the compression on the engine. Engines with low compression will have a hard time starting after being driven.

Things to check... compression, spark plugs, timing. If all checks ok, send injectors to witch hunter.
