Hard to start after been running

Hey guys my 89 vert has been in my family since 1990. It has a stage 1 rebuild that was done at 67k miles, the engine now has 76k. Those 10k miles were driven in about 6 years. Ive had the car for about 2 weeks now and have been using it as a daily. I had a 88 vert before and know a little about these cars. The car starts up perfectly when its been sitting for a hour or more and runs great. However if I stop to get gas and try to start it back up it doesnt want to start, it sounds and smells like it is flooded. I replaced the plugs this weekend, the tps, the 02 sensor, the fuel filter, the thermostat, the radiator cap and the oil. It runs better and starts better but the hot start problem still exist. It smokes pretty badly when Im cranking on it, black smoke. Any ideas would be great.

The injectors could be flooding the engine some thus causing the hot start problem. You might want to check the Water Thermosensor for it might be adding too much fuel upon startup, but it's a bit of a long shot. The Fuel Pressure Regulator might be at fault too, but the injectors are probably the main culprit here.
