GA Fresh rebuild wont start

I just rebuilt my engine and I can't get it to start. I had a small fuel leak which ended up being a o-ring but now it turns over fine but just wont start. Im pretty sure its got fuel pressure but I'm starting to get fusterated.

What are some of the things I should look for? I just don't know where to start. Its ether fuel or fire right?

Any help or insite would be great... The only things thats different is that I'm using fd rotor housings..

Thanks for your help in advance if I haven't already blown my brains out from being under this thing for 80 hours this week..

So I forgot a ground wire for the harness but that didn't change anything. I have fuel pressure because I had a leak. I have smoke when I try to start it so Im assuming that my spark plugs are firing although not huge amounts (which are new) I'm pretty sure that the cpu is hooked up right although I did forget the ps computer at first.

I'm think that maybe my injectors arn't firing or my timing could be off. I put the crank angle senor in on the yellow mark I'm pretty sure.

Any imput would be great or how I would check the injectors or the timing would be a great help. And if anyone has a pic of the cpu on the passanger side being hooked up would be great.

pull the CAS out of the engine and hook it up to the harness, turn the key on and spin the CAS, listen to the injectors. if you hear clicking then you should have fuel.

next remove and check the spark plugs for spark by laying them on the strut tower and spin the CAS with the key on. if you have both of those then you are either flooded or CAS timing is off.

Check that the fuel feed/return lines aren't swapped.

Ok so Im getting spark and I hear my injectors going off. For my fuel lines it runs from my fuel filter to the left metal line and the return is coming from the right.

If its my timing how do I correct it with out the engine running?

that's the correct position.

pick up a new set of spark plugs(disregard the fact that they are actually sparking), leave the new plugs out of the engine and remove the EGI fuse, crank the engine for about 15 seconds 4 times with the throttle held wide open. install the new plugs and EGI fuse, hold the throttle wide open and crank the engine(when/if it starts let off the throttle a bit and hold it between 1500-2000RPMs).

Perhaps the car is flooded from repeated start attempts. If so, then disconnect the fuel pump and spray a second or two of starter fluid into the intake and try to start the car. If it starts then it will run just for a few seconds. If it's able to do this then try it one more time and then reconnect the fuel pump and try to start the car normally.
