Hard to start '91 N/A
My '91 N/A sometimes spins over fast when I first try to re-start it after driving somewhere, say at work when heading out for lunch
Is this the leaky injector problem or low compression?
I have also noticed that when I start it for the first time in the morning that it does not go to 3000 RPM, it sort of stumbles around 1500 RPM until it smooths out, eventully climbing to 2500RPM, then as it warms up slowly drops to 1000 RPM.
This all seemed to start after I cleaned the throttle body and had to re-adjust the idle down after the cleaning (it was solid at 2500 RPM). Could the air bypass adjustment screw setting be wrong now and how do I return it back to the recommended setting ?
The engine is stock and has 44K miles on it. Thanks

do you start the car in gear? if the car is in neutral when you start it, it "should" rev up to 3K and go down from there. i always leave mine in gear so when i start it, it goes up to 1500, then drops when its warmed up.
you can also run the codes on the car and see if you find anything...
good luck
