Hard to get to high rev

Hey, i have a 91 GTUs, my car had a TPS i think, i just bought one and i have to set it up,its working better, but it gets harder to pass 4500 or 5000 rpm... could be, spark plugs, wire sparkplugs....??

Is the GTUs a Peru-only special in 91 or am I not as informed as GTUs' as I thought, since GTUs were only sold in 89-90 as I had believed?
