Question hard to find parts looking for ideas

I just had my engine rebuilt and when the block came back it seemed to be missing a part, which i found out to be just a normal thing when cleaning the engine b4 rebuild. The part seems to be some sort of air diffuser/grommet for the main injectors going to the block. I belive they are to help atomize the AF mixutre. I was told to just put some silicon hose in the place of these plastic-like parts and it should be fine. I did that it ran ok however after 1500 miles on the engine i put a wide band on to start tuneing it. WAY WAY lean, wouldn't even read on the gauge, It is a N/A with a street port, and a upgraded RP fuel pump. So if anything i belive it should be pig rich. Anyways looking for idea where to find those parts, thanks for the help

Air diffusers can be bought from mazdatrix or the dealer.

In the TII, the slanted diffusers have a little positioning tab so that they can only go in one way.

i am thinking the slant would want to go slanted inwards to aid the flow of fuel...

The wideband is wrong.

That makes sense. I forget how mine ended up facing, but I do remember that they were somehow indexed so that they wouldn't seat properly unless they were facing the correct way. I asked the same question as you when mine were on order; then when I went to put them in, the answer was obvious.

how would the wideband be wrong? I got everything installed and just like you said it was indexed with a white dot facing towards the engine/driverside with a lobe to keep it true. I got it all put together and fired it up, def. sounds diffrent. However i still have the lean problem at idle but once i put a load on it i am running good. Some how i srung a leak on or around my BACV i have to fix then i am going to take it for a cruise tonight. Thanks for your help.
