hard cold start problem fixed :)
So I rebuilt my engine a little under 2k miles ago and it runs perfectly warm but couldn't hold idle for the first two minutes after starting cold and it would take a good 15 secs of cranking cold to start it the first time.
Well I got to thinking it might be a clogged cat since i removed the airpump and ACV and just took a chance and disconnected the exaust after the header. Car fired up instantly, better than even when I just bought the sucker two years ago. I didn't check the idling problem due to the insane amount of noise the "free flowing" header was making but it seemed to be fine from what I could tell for the 2 secconds it was running.
So my buddy and I are going to gut the cat and weld a pipe inside of it till I decide to get a full exhaust installed.
