Hang it lower?

What is the best recommended suspension replacement kit for an 88' RX7 turbo?

I want great performance, but my car will be on the road 8-% of the time and only 20% on the track.

Can any set simply go on to the existing mountings? I didn't want to mess with that.

If its gonna see that much track time, then I think coil-overs would be a very worth-while investment. I use GC coilovers ($409) and KYB AGX struts ($432 @ tirerack). I love the setup. It still rides decent for the street and is simply amazing in the corners. The previous owner routinely tracked it with this setup and would out-handle track-only 944's. One advantage of this is that you really don't have much need for roll bars, unless you really want them. I have a stock front bar, and none in the rear and it still has virtually no roll.
There are also many other setups available at varying prices, but this is the one I have experience with.
