Had Engine Fire, Replaced Harness. Have Spark But No Fuel Injector Signal

as the title says... i have a 1988 rx7 convertable all stock.. had a fire under the hood from leaky injectors more than likely... we know the injectors are leaky anyway..
replaced all the burnt wiring and all the burnt parts
it gets ignition just acts liek it doesnt get fuel.. dested the injector wiring harness and it doesnt get a pulse... been sitting since 2001 and its more than overdue.. this car needs to run its beautiful.
checked the crank angle sensor and all the fuses in the car.. and a main relay all are good...
possible wiring issue?
any suggestions much appreciated
errr sorry this is my first post lol :\

thanks,
-Allen

If you have ignition the CAS is automatically ok.

Jumper the fuel pump check connector. Yellow in color, two sockets, maybe a piece of black shrink tubing surrounding it.. Turn the key to ON. Then listen.

Do you hear the fuel passing thru the rails and retuning to the tank? Yes or No.

Did you expend two bucks on a can of Starter fluid and spray into the snorkel/air filter for two seconds, then try to start the engine. Did it cough? Run for moment? Did what????????

And or get a meter out. PUll the small plug off the ECU. Check the PLUG where the wires are light green.....light green with a white stripe......., light green with a black stripe........., light green with a red stripe.

Those are the injector wires and each should have 12v with the key to ON.

And or check the ENGINE FUSE in the interior....but you said you have spark so that MUST be good. Check the two EGI fuses, but then again, you have spark so they must be good.

Do the above and answer each question as best possible. If there are no answers and just vague remarks instead, I'll have to tell you how to fix it by finding the Green **** and turning three times to the left, then pull straight up. You don't want a answer like that, so answer the best you can the questions above.

Actually it's hard to fix a car online. About all you'll get is some hints on how things should be working.

I'd hate to try to start a engine that's been sitting for over five years. Sounds like trouble.

ok, 3 of the 4 got 12 volts... the green/red stripe did not... why did it not get voltage? and if you look at awiring diagram... you'll see they go straight from the ecu directly to the injectors.. so my other question is.. HOW DO THEY GET 12V lol.... me and my dad cant figure it out... does the wiring possibly split somewhere under the dash? lol... wtf is going on XD

if a video would do you any help.. let me know

on the injector wire, if you run 12v to the light green wire... the noid light comes on when you turn the key on.. you lose your black and yellow ground the light goes off

The Black/Yellow wire feeds all four injectors.

The ECU pulses a gnd to the injectors to turn them on/off.

If your not getting 12vdc to the Green/Red at the ECU, then you need to pull the intake manifold off and see if the plug on the rear secondary injector is connected or not.

Since it's a non turbo car you don't have to pull the manifold. It's sitting right there on the right side of the engine.

Secondary injectors can't cause a non start. They only come on over 3800 rpm.

IF one of the light green wires has 12v then it follows they all should have 12v since they all get fed 12c from the same wire. Only a plug off an injector would cause one of them to not show 12c.

The light green wire and the light green/black wire are for the primary injectors and that's all you need for starting as far as fuel injectors goes.

ROFLMAO well.. that tells us alot every time we've cranked it the noid light has been on one of the secondary injectors :\

and im for sure the lt. green/red wire we tested that didnt get 12v was unhooked from the injector...

we did have to basicly cut all the wiring so were gonna pull the tape off the lt.green/black and the black/yellow for the primary injector and try to crank and see if we get a pulse... if we do then its almost gotta be a fuel pressure or pump problem right?

hmmm..
