Had A/C on and my overfill take was filling up

Ok I was driving around today it was a pretty hot day and I had the A/C on. I just get to school let my car cool down for 2 mins, shut it off and im walking away and I hear a bubling sound. I pop the hood and I see my coolant overfill tank filling up. So I start the car I see my temp gauge is going above the half way point so I turn on the heat. The coolant stops going in the tank and my temp is droping a lil under half and everything is back to normal.

Im afraid to turn my A/C back on, any one know what the problem is?

Thanks

Have your coolant system pressure tested. Cold be a coolant seal leaking under heavy load. Radiator condition? How old is your coolant? Oil Cooler fins clean?

Do you have the stock fan? If the answer is yes, check that the clutch fan is working properly. If its working properly, have the system pressurised.

If you have a e-fan, some other issues will apply!

I had the same problem in my Explorer. Based on colling system theory, it should relate. I had a faulty thermostat.
