So, i bought an 87 tii a couple weeks ago and found the electrical harnesses are fried. The engine harness is dryrotted and cracking, burnt ground wires by the ecu, and haggard wiring. I need a tii harness.

On the other hand, the harness that feeds through the firewall on the driverside has a white/blue wire on the egi fuse that keeps heating up and melting popping the fuse after about 2 minutes run time.

What could cause this?

 

Also, the main relay had a bunch of wires coming from it that were melted.
