you dont mean "hyper whites" as in the ones they sell on ebay? my friend once bought some "hyperwhites" on ebay and they were so cheap (89 for his 240sx)

but anyways.. the ones at autozone look nice?

what about mounting them? easy connect and no hassle wiring or what?

if you go to autozone.com and search by parts

this are what i came up with for S5 Rx7's

WI-HL5A 39.99
WI-HL11 59.99
WI-HL6A 39.00
WI-HL12 59.99

my personal favorite is the first one...

these are all H4 conversion kits...

iam just wondering is the pricing for one set of 2 or just one side?

anyone know?

I wanted to do this as well so I forked out the money to buy the nice shielded housings made by hella. I think i purchased them here:

http://store.yahoo.com/rodi/heleurhal20h.html

yeah i did fork out the expensive 49 a piece but these are far better than the ones on ebay. get these and put some sylvania silverstars in them and you will be amazed.

i dont like those ones because of the texture on the lights.... i prefer the clear ones.. with no 'ridges'

I have ebay the "crystal cut" ebay housings and they are good for what I paid for them, $25 shipped The housing has a shield over where the h4 bulb would go so you dont blind other drivers and I still have my high beams.

I bought a pair of sylvania silverstars for like $40-50 and they are a big improvement from stock but very far from "as close to HID" as they advertise. No complaints here.

Ypu can get the Silverstars in a direct replacement for our headlights. Are these not as good as the H4 version that you would use if you did the conversion? If so what is better about the ones you use when you do the H4 conversion?

Well you can get the stock silverstar replacements that have an h4 bulb built into the housing but the thing is you cant replace them. If you get h4 conversion bulbs you can just swap out bulbs whenever you want. Either way you go you dont need to do any wiring stuff. All plug and play.

Its a drop in replacement, I'd recommend highly. Improves night vision quite a bit. The silverstar bulbs were just as expensive as the damn housing but they do an excellant job and they're street legal.
