H4 or 9003

just got the new lights for my rex and I was just wondering the difference between the H4 lights and the 9003 bulbs?

H4 ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BRIGTHER BECAUSE THEY ARE USED FOR MOTORCYCLE AND OFF ROAD, THEY USE A BIT HIGHER VOLTAGE. BUT THEY ARE THE SAME, JUST THE BRIGHTNESS DIFFERS.

9003 and H4 are simple the North American and European (respectively) designation for the same bulb.
