GXLII Final Update

Well, here's the final update on my conversion. It is finally finished! Today I put on my custom midpipe ($15, can't go wrong there!) And connected my RB downpipe to my old NA exhaust. It sounds quite well I think, not raspy at all, just a pretty low but quite tone. Anyway, the TPS was causing many idle issues so until I get a new one I'm not going to drive the car around too much, with the TPS disconnected it will idle perfectly at 750rpm without a hitch. Everything working fine, I couldn't be happier Just thought I'd let you all know how it's going, I'm now going to get it registered, get a new TPS on and be on my way

My poor rims:

(yes, my main fuse is missing, and yes I don't have an air filter on it in the picture, and yes it doesn't have a fan either in the picture)

Older picture from other angle:

Picture from the rear: (don't ask about the litter)

Thanks, it's not very easy to start, takes a few minutes to get it to purr, but now it sounds great, going to get more gas in it tomorrow and hopefully take it out for a spin again.

HAhaha, she got a bath last night, damn thunderstorms! rico: might I remind you, 3 of those 4 months working on the car were waiting for PARTS. Not to mention I had to rebuild the god damn engine cuz the *** lied and said it was ok but was really blown! My shift **** is worth more than your car! Not to mention, I can throw my shift **** faster than your car can move right about now

Man, You need to get a mtrix dual exhaust setup for 35hp so you will be able to beat abec and his crapstang.

Hey, I have a turbo, that's not fair remember? Not to mention, I have duals, and I have a RB downpipe w/custom made 2.5" midpipe -> dual mufflers.

You get a lot more than 10 horsepower from a full exhaust on a turbo.

The car looks great...hopefully you can get that TPS business straightened out and be all set.

blu_gxl, I know a guy who did a turboII swap in a week. I guess it all depends on how much experience you have and how much effort you can devote to it each day.

Are you going to attempt to redeem yourself now? Lets see here, the list of things you did wrong:
sent me a dead engine
sent me an engine with all series 4 parts (when I SPECIFICALLY asked if it had s5 front cover/injectors/tps)
sent me a series 4 ECU
sent me NA injectors in a T2 engine!?
didn't send me the fan, which you said you would

And you can't tell me you couldn't notice 6 stuck side seals before you sent it out.
