Here' the story. A friend of my daughter is here and unfortunately he is a piston auto mechanic. He claims that Mazda had an Infinity III model with an Infinity III metalic emblem next to the RX7 emblem in the rear. I claim he is a ******* idiot!!! Does anyone have a reason to explain such a symbol he claims to have seen?????

 

They did in Japan. Special limited edition, reduced weight, etc.

And, yes, they did have a logo on the back that looks like the infinity symbol - an 8 on its side.

The car was in Gran Turismo as well .

The emblem he saw was most likely to be an aftermarket decal that you can get online or make yourself.

 

The Infini IV, only made in Japan.. its like our 88AE, but better

 

actaully much closer to our 89-90 GTUs model in spirit.

The 10thAE was vert fat and bloated with every option (and then some), while the Infini IV was light weight and stripped of almost every heavy option.
