Since my driveshaft is broken =( my 7 hadnt been started in a week aside from my brother doing a start then stop in about 5 sec. (dont worry i yelled at him about that). and it seems as though he flooded my engine . the reason i 'know' is because when i tried to crank it today it couldnt quite catch..a lil jump here..and there..but nothing. so i started pumpin the gas while starting it..and yay it worked...when it turned on there was so much smoke that came out of the back it wasnt even funny..
well, there is still smoke entering the cabin which smells extremely like tranny oil from where the seals leaked out on the exhaust, but nothing compaired to before. i didnt engage the clutch at all the whole time the car was on (40 minutes idling w/ me inside fixin up my instrument panel). i got a middle boot totally ripped (like the one on mazdatrix site when they're replacing the lower boot/bushings)
1. does anyone have a NEW boot (3 peices) that i can buy of them for less than the mazdatrix amnt?
2. how long does it generally take oil to burn away on an exhaust pipe
3. there is smoke coming from the engine bay too (but it smells like tranny, so im guessing it filtered up there obviously)
4. how much does a rear seal cost on a tranny? (the only seal left broken, getting my driveshaft from demonracer)

 

Have you got your shox installed yet? I have the same ones. Let me know if you like them when you get them on.

 

nah, im waiting for the ST's i ordered on sunday. the first minute they get to the door though im takin them and puttin them on, i'll let u know how they are (probably a week or so)
