guesstimate this horsepower? s5 t2 exhaust inatke port w/stock turbo

Building my motor, Ihave done large street port and exhaust port on the irons and housings and replaced both rotors and housings, and all seals and springs. I willstill be running the stock s5 turbo 2 turbo. The last time it was boosting over 11pounds before the rear rotor's apex seal blew. ts running 3inch straight pipe no muffler, 255lph fuels pump, boost conbtroller, bov,intake..still putting the motor togetehr almost ready to put back in the car...

Guess what horsepower am I looking at ?? I wonder....Im curious cantwait

I've always liked the Rolls-Royce approach to this question...they always described their cars as having "sufficient" horsepower, never bothering to quantify with a hard number.
This not only reflected their clientele's "Don't trouble me with details" silver spoon lifestyle but also acknowledged the very real fact that horsepower- as a standalone number- is essentially meaningless.

Outside of bragging rights at the Burger King, what difference does it make?

50HP port, 50HP exhaust. Up to +24% going from 6psi to 11psi if you got a good aftercooler. If none of the extra heat is removed, you only get +18% because there's a 6% increase in absolute temperature (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adiabatic_process). Maybe less due to energy lost to the turbo. I'm gonna guess about 310 at the wheels. Or 270 at 6psi. Those are fairly ideal numbers, so it may be a little lower.

I agree there's not much point to the question, but it doesn't take much to guess either. At worst I'd make this a lounge topic (but not really).

And the poster also found out why his last motor blew. Besides upgrading the injectors, I'd tune it to make sure it injects more fuel. You need extra fuel to cool the intake to prevent detonation, which will pop an apex seal. Thus detonation happens whenever you're not injecting enough fuel to handle your level of boost. Also make sure that your boost never spikes or creeps upwards, but it looks like you have stuff for that.

most likely 220-240 depending on boost level, dyno conditions, etc

No tuning or fuel control? You're gonna make no more than 220whp.

w/o fuel control I'd say you shouldn't be worrying about how much hp it will be getting but how long it will last...
