Guess the wire(with arrow)

Can anyone tell me what this wire is and where it pligs-in at?

Temp switch for the optional auxillary electric fan.

If you have the fan (look in front of the radiator) then the temp switch is on the back of the water pump next to the ECU's thermosensor.

so if i don't have the fan then the wire doesn't get connected to anything right?
