GTUs wheel fitment question.

So I did some searching and found lots of people asking very similar questions but none with the answer I need, so sorry for the repetitive rim question.

Anyways so I have a set of GTUs wheels (225/50/R16) wrapped in nittos that I wish to use on my 91’ N/A coupe lowered with Tanabe GF210’s. When I put the GTUs wheels on, the inside of the tire rubs one coil of the GF210 springs. I was woundering two things..

1)What size spacers would you recommend to be used with the GTUs wheels for auto-x applications.

2)Im assuming but not sure, should I space all four corners?

Again I apologize for the repetitive question but appreciate any and all help.

-Thanks, Andrew

Heh, we have similar situations. I have a GTUs with GF210's on there. I took my car to a drift event, and all the rubbing took its toll on my drivers side spring.

Dont do any hard driving before you put spacers on your wheels, or run a 205 instead of 225, because thats what I had on the car at the time, 225's.

1/4" should do it, and hopefully won't need longer studs, which require removing the hub in the back.

Speaking of spacers, I noticed recently that Pineapple has reasonably priced spacers made specifically for us: http://www.pineappleracing.com/index...PROD&ProdID=61

Next question: I got a set of spacers but how will I know if I need new studs? When taking my 205's off the lug nuts threaded off about 8 whole turns. When I put the 225's on with the spacers I only got about 3.5 turns. So how do I know what is going to be safe/ at what point i need new studs:?

-Thanks

NOT SAFE!!!!!!

You need a minimum of about 6-7 turns MINIMUM. Get longer studs, untill then keep the 205's on the car.

I run the exact same wheels on my TII with 225s and dont have any rubbing at all, not even close. Go figure...

Then again I am running different springs. RB.
