just wondering what vin # on gtus should be i pulled mine up on a background check and it said gtu/gxl just wondering why it didnt say (gtus) can u guys help me out?

 

From what I understand, and what Icemark will probably post once he sees this, is that with a GTUs the vin # does not specify anything about it being a GTUs. Mine says the same thing, but it definitly is a GTUs. So, there isnt any problem with it saying what it does.

so basically the vin doesnt say whether or not its a GTUs, across the board, so its not just you. Just how it is I guess.

 

A vin number doesn't say whether the car is a GTUs or not, you have to see whether the car has what a GTUs would have, its been discussed PLENTY of times, use the search feature, you would have found out your vin # question too.

 

The only place that the VIN pulls up the actual sub model is sometimes with mazda cust service
