Damn...a turbo guy coming into an NA thread and talking ****...geez, /that's/ never happened before. *eye roll*

Slow? Maybe in a straight line...but bring your 10 AE to Sevenstock 6. We're gonna do an Ortega Canyon run. I'll show you what's up. *wink*

Yo,

Jacob, that steering wheel is the Sparco 383 Suede.

I was going to link it...but www.sparcousa.com is acting up.

It's a nice wheel, but small. It will cover gauges up...but I like how it's slowed down the sometimes overly boosted power steering. It's perfect now.

Now if I could just see how fast I'm going...or how much gas...or oil pressure...*grin*

Wow. Ive always felt prepping was the easy (hard work though) part of doing a paint job

Hey, do you happen to know the total production numbers for both 89 and 90 GTUs?

Yo,

1989 GTUs production ranges from 800-1000...it seems like nobody really knows. The Mazdaspeed rep told my buddy it was 800.

1990 GTUs production has actually be documented at 100 units.

Even given the high estimate on the 1989 production, it is still the rarest production model RX-7 sold in the United States.

Don't know for sure about 89, but in 90 there were exactly 100 made. I'm not quite sure when the last one rolled off the production line, but mine was probably one of the first, made in July of 89. Weird...

I'll take that bet! That picture is after one week of owning the car. I've had it for almost a year now. Now when you pop the hood, you're face gets warm from the glare.

#1 I did not ask to bet anything.
#2 You just don't understand how clean Kevin's car is
#3: Lets look at the pic, http://wozzoo.tripod.com/temp/GTUs5.JPG I can see dirt and non waxed areas.

I will try to dig up a pic of his engine bay, Think of it this way it is something for him to strive for.
