GTUs Exhaust Replacement: OEM or Aftermarket?

Ok so I am restoring a GTUs I bought, and the rear mufflers have holes in the pipes and are blowing leading to an awful sounding exhaust. I am trying to keep this car as close to original as possible. Not sure what experience anyone has but with the exhaust the question is to find an OEM type replacement, or go aftermarket.

If I go aftermarket, I want it to look as OEM as possible from the outside. Thought the Racing Beat system was a good bet in that department. Any insight would be helpful!

Definitely go with racing beat. It's pricey, but worth every penny.

i think even though racing beat isn't OEM, and doesn't look like OEM, it gets treated like its an OEM. especially if you found an older one with black mufflers.

a good second choice would be an older HKS, Greddy or Fujitsobo system, as they had ones that did look OEM.

I have not seen the black muffler version. Any pics you might have?

Does anyone know of what an OEM replacement would be? Like I said, my research hasn't found much so far. Right now, Racing Beat is the number one option I think.

The racing beat mufflers are very well made, save for some exhaust hanger nonsense that may require some heat and bending to get that perfect snug in your bumper openings. They look so nice you'd be hard pressed to do better with an oe part on most vehicles a normal person could afford.

Racing beat ones are pretty common on cars up here as i went to go view a couple of 7s for sale and they either had the complete kit or just parts.

It sounds good

on both my previous verts one came with a Borla Catback and it sounded pretty fantastic and the other had a Magnaflow which was ok i guess
