Question GTUs on eBay?

I don't if you guys have spotted it or if it has been mentioned but there is an elusive hidden GTUs for sale on eBay by a guy who I believe doesn't know about it's rarity. I don't think he would go through the trouble of putting the sticker on (can you get them anymore?) this guy doesn't sound like he knows much about it (listed as 4 cyl.) Bad part is, it has 173,000 (!) miles and is said to have not been driven for 6 months (!) because his license was suspended (!) Oh well, check it out and tell me what you think: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eb...gephotohosting

Oh and by the way, see if you can save a picture of it, seems like it won't let me.

Nice car man, wish I could nab it but ow well. N/a engines are like green M&MS there is a shitload of them out there. They don't cost all that much unless you are still living with the parents. Anyway, I would wait 4 or so days and see if there is much interest. Or even better get out there and see if you can try or even see the car. Good luck man and I doubt that is a GTU's cause didn't they have no sunroofs? And that one does cause he has an air deflector up there or atleast it looks like he does. Sorry to go on like that and burst your bubble. However, I might be wrong.

Yeah after I posted I looked and saw all the options it had, oh well. Where did he get the badging? You think a guy like that wouldn't know about the GTUs and go for a Turbo II clone, maybe I was wrong about him....

You can buy any badge or decal that's ever been on an RX-7 straight out of the Victoria British catalogue.

I'm sure he bought it with that badging and doesn't know any better. It doesn't seem like he knows much about these cars and I doubt he's trying to scam anyone because he doesn't mention GTUs anywhere in the ad.

I just posted right away because if it was a real GTUs you could really get a good deal for it, since he wouldn't know the value of one. Too bad, good money could have been made if it was real and someone bought it from him and sold it to a collector.
