I have a GTU style wing that has a hella crack in it. I was wondering if anyone out there could suggest a fix for it. I was going to try a plastic weld that I got at Advane Auto. It has worked very well on plastics and is very strong. But the center seems to be a foam or rubber compound.

but on a more serious note, it is a rubber compound on the outsize, but the inside is fiberglass IIRC, but don't quote me.

 

erm, take it off, and use caulking??
