GRR!! Easy fuel injection cleaning?
Alright. first thing, my parents scared the **** out of me and paid the balance on the RX i put a downpayment on. now i have to pay them back (with 3% interest instead of close to 10) and it's now sitting in my driveway. *sigh*
of course. i go to pick it up from the dealership, the tank is BONE DRY.
"WTF did you do to this?"
"oh, someone came for a test drive, he brought it back empty"
"and you didn't fill it?"
"nahhhh..."
dad buy's a jerry can of gas, puts it in, we drive to the station, fill it up. drive 40 miles to get it back home, take a shower and get changed for my job, drive 600 yards and LOSE THE REAR ROTOR. no torque. at all.
drag it to work (ouch... clutch ) and get my dad and the local shop to give it the once over. rear injector is clogged. can't flush it till monday.
my insurance runs out today, and i still need to do aircare and the plating.
is there ANY way i can do this at home (without the gas additives) instead of waiting?
