just placed a 4gauge ground from my alternator=>strut tower and another from my negative batt. terminal (also replaced) to the same strut tower. let's just say my 6500rpm hesitation is gone and the car drives much better. this needs to be archived or stickied.

I saw this thread about a month ago and decided to do this.

I have a question though. Where did you guys buy your cables. And also do you connect the circle connector directly to the neg. battery terminal, cause I couldn't find a place to buy circle connectors that big?

I got cable and lugs from an electronics store. It's stuff for car audio, but it's much cheaper than getting it from a car audio place.

You mean like this:

This tread has hit a lot on the grounding side, but no one has mentioned doubling up the 12V+ from the alternator.

Its very easy to run a second wire from the positive post on the alternator to the positive terminal on the battery.

Damn I've been using that one for ages. It's a good written how-to.

Really it isn't that hard through. Download the FSM wiring diagrams and use them. The ECU wiring diagrams show which wires are the grounds and where they are on the plugs. Where all those ground wires come together you solder on an another wire and bolt it to the chassis.

Learn to take pictures with a 1 meg camera from a little further away so they're in focus and THEN you'll be experienced.

Grounding the *right* boost sensor wire (not all 7s are the same):

I would suggest working with the mods to replace your current pics with clear ones b4 you sticky this - it's like trying to look through murky water.
