Grinding shifts causing blown fuses?
The last time I drove my car I mistakedly grinded 2nd downshifting from 3rd. It caused my rear tail light fuse to blow out. I'd like to know if anyone experienced this, also what the **** is causing it.
I posted this before when I had my 88 SE. It did the same thing, except it blew out the gauges fuse. The 88 SE's transmission was failing so it grinded once in a while. On the 5th or 6th blown fuse, the gauge fuse circuit got fried and would burn the fuse everytime I turned my key to the ON position. Everyone said it was a coincidence, but it obviously is not.
The car I have now is an 87 tii with microtech, 60 trim turbo, FMIC, fuel, etc. The 88 se was stock.
