grinding noise in 4th gear

grinding noise in 4th gear
Hey guys I was driving a bit on the highway today and started noticing a grinding noise. I couldnt really tell where it was comming from but it only occoured in 4th gear at around 2500 rpms and up. I cant rev past 4k so i dont know if it goes away any higher. Any idea what it could be?
