Greddy V-spec or R-spec??

Alright, I've looked and looked but I couldn't find much info on the differences of these two intercoolers. I know the fins inside the intercooler are different, but what are the advantages/disadvantages of each? Does it affect spool-up? I know there's a thread around here somewhere but can't find it. I link would be great, but personal experience with either one would also be awesome. Thanks in advance,
Brian

V-spec is for the stock turbo and the R-spec is for the GReddy turbo kit. Same core I believe.

the RSPEC core is designed for boost 15psi and above with the greddy kit. VSPEC is better for stock turbo cars and has bolt in piping

So basically if i wanted to just use the core, a Gt35/40 turbo at 15psi and make my own special piping, i should get the R spec because it flows better? Just want to be clear on this one. Thanks

R-Spec core is a more efficient core in terms of heat transfer.&nbsp The V-Spec core is a better flowing core, but it doesn't transfer heat as efficiently as the R-Spec core.&nbsp This implies there is more pressure drop in the R-Spec core.
