I looked through the search feature and couldn't find my answer. so the question is that i have a full auto timer for my 88tii and am having problems getting it to work. the manual says that i need to connect a wire to the speed signal wire on the ECU, but then says that some cars, you won't need to do that. Do i really need to do it, and if so, can anyone tell me which wire on the ecu it is. i've been looking in my haynes repair manual and can't find it. Please help me out. thanks!

 

its not in the Haynes. go find the service manual online somewhere. there are links all over the place.
