ok i got a greddy auto timer from a guy on here and am having a few problems with it.

i have followed the manual on greddys site.

i am getting power to the unit and it also measures how many volts that the car is running. the problem is that when i set the time for it to start counting down and i turn the IG to off the car shuts off...the timer does not count down.

i have tried the problem solving on greddys FAQ and problems. i have tried to the method of flipping the switch in the back of the unit but it still will not count down.

any help or tip is very much appreciated

 

make sure your wires are connected correctly. the turbo timer will go from green to red when activated.

 

the wires are connected but is there some setup that i need to do or is it supposed to be a simple plug and play??

 

I don't have the greddy...but mine has a wire that goes to the e-brake. When the e-brake is on, the turbo timer will work....when the e-brake is off, the car shuts off.

 

i didnt hook the ebrake wire up...didnt have the time.

 

anyone else have any ideas
