GReddy Turbo Timer harness - what wires are these?

GReddy Turbo Timer harness - what wires are these?
One quick question that I have regarding this harness - -there are two female butt connectors (one red 12V and one green (IG1 on instructions) coming outta the harness. Where do these connect to? Is this the power for the timer? Just seems odd because the harness has red/green and so does the timer, so it seems redundant
